The directory data published on this Site — including the selection, arrangement, coordination, and enrichment of Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) public records — constitutes a compilation database protected under U.S. copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 103). While underlying license records are public information, the compiled dataset, enrichment methodology, classifications, and presentation are original works of authorship owned exclusively by ThirstMetrics LLC.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use directory data and CSV downloads for personal and internal business purposes only. Permitted uses include:

• Researching potential liquor store accounts for your own sales activities.
• Verifying a specific permit holder's license status before a transaction.

The following uses are prohibited without prior written consent from ThirstMetrics LLC:

4. Prohibition on Automated Harvesting

Directory data is sourced from TABC public records and enriched by ThirstMetrics LLC. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any permit status or business information. License statuses change frequently; a record shown as “Verified Active” may have since lapsed, been suspended, or been transferred.

Always verify permit status directly with TABC at tabc.texas.gov before relying on any information for legal, regulatory, or transactional purposes. ThirstMetrics LLC is not liable for any decisions made based on data displayed on this Site.

6. API & Download Rate Limits

API access and CSV downloads are subject to per-IP rate limits to ensure fair access and prevent bulk extraction. Exceeding these limits will result in temporary blocks. These limits exist to protect the integrity of the compilation database and ThirstMetrics LLC's commercial interests.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThirstMetrics LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of this Site or the data provided herein.
